Funny how different today’s look is from last week’s blog post. I guess when it comes to fashion, I have a hard time settling for a single style or type of vibe; there are so many nice looks out there to try so why limit yourself like that. I’m personally really open to trying new trends and do not get intimidated by bold looks, but not everyone’s like that. For instance, when I saw these boots on Zara’s website I was automatically drawn to them. It was love at first sight, I had to get them. However, a lot of people feel differently towards them, starting with my mom lol. Let’s just say it’s a bit too bold for most people; I always get weird looks by people whenever I wear them. Luckily for me, it doesn’t affect me at all. In fact, I find it quite amusing. I just think it’s important to stick to what you like despite people’s opinion around you, and this applies to everything in life. Anyway, this was my little advice of the day to whoever is open to it 🙂
As I said, these boots are quite intense for most people, and this outfit sort of amplifies it with all the black and leather going on. To make it more wearable, you can easily pair these boots with a simple white tee and some blue jeans. Keeping everything else casual and effortless will definitely tone the boots down a bit. Adding some elegant touches like dainty jewelry and a small feminine bag would also create a nice contrast of styles that would balance everything out, if that’s what you’re going for. Personally, I wish autumn in Montreal was a bit warmer so I could wear these boots with a delicate white dress. I think it would look super cute and I just love the concept of incorporating opposite styles in a single outfit.
Hope you got inspired & until next time,
