Hey guys, it’s been a while. The snow melted since the last post, lol…I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for the last couple of months, but I have my reasons (skip this paragraph if you don’t care). I started this blog as my senior year project at school and after that last post my work was sent for evaluation and I was not allowed to bring any changes to it during that process. Once that was over, I worked on some blog posts in May but then one of our exam sessions started and by the time I actually got to post them, I realized the outfits were not really relevant anymore, because the weather had changed a lot since the actual shooting. So I decided not to post them anymore. I then had to focus on preparing for my last exam session in June and once I was done with all that, graduation, prom and weddings happened. But I’m finally back now and ready to get this blog going again.
Anyways, let’s jump into the outfit details. I normally tend to abuse of dresses in the summer, because A, it’s easy, and B, it’s easy. But one thing I absolutely, immensely, deeply hate about wearing dresses (or skirts and shorts) is when you sit somewhere and your legs touch the chair, couch, bench, whatever. Especially when it’s a public sitting area, like the bus or metro for instance (cringing x 1000). I don’t know, maybe I’m crazy but I just cannot stand the feeling. But wearing pants when it’s 500 degrees outside isn’t any better. That’s when palazzo pants come to my rescue. Loose, wide legged and breathable fabric, this type of pants is simply perfect for summer, especially when you have odd issues with short bottoms. Moving on, I went for a simple white strapless top and of course I had to include a choker. I mean all the it-girls wear them now, so might as well. I initially wanted to finish the look with some wedges but the pants weren’t long enough to cover the wedge, which looked weird, so I just went for these very simple sandals. Throw on a colorful lipstick and you’re ready to go.
